I spent yesterday hammering out a seized rear caliper slider pin, what a PIA !
So fluid bled, test drive time, and bloody driver window isn't working, what's up with that? Pass works. Grrrrrr

Current Brisbane forecast for Monday is looking good.

Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower. Light winds. Temperature 13 to 27.

QR being further west probably means even less chance of showers. Woohoo.

Probably better off going with the Ipswich forecast, which is according to Accuweather 10-27 with 3% chance of showers during the day.

I'm leaving the BP Burpengary [south] around 7.15am after coffee - may also have Mike [Toyota 86] travel down with us

HARDTOP ON!!

A question... once before at Lakeside a friend of mine came to watch and take pictures... is this ok to have pals, and who should I organise that with?

Another question... where would one stop for a good coffee between Mt Ommaney and Willowbank? Bear in mind I have snobbish coffee standards!

Pals ok, just make sure they observe the rules in pit lane, listen to officials and no sitting on the pit wall :) If not sure ask Doug who is responsible for safety at QR or any track offical.

Heaps of spots to get photos and willing people to talk to in the pits.

Coffee snobs go to McDonalds at Yamanto about 10 mins from Willowbank :) If I was attending I would have invited you to have coffee at my place about 15 mins from Willowbank.

The BP near the Amberley turnoff does a decent breakfast, coffee is so so but they do sell 98 fuel.

Organised your CTP yet? I wouldn't count on being able to do it on Monday morning, which means there is only one business day left to do it!

Organise your CTP tomorrow, Friday 12/9 if you have not already done so.

Hello Drivers,

If you are planning to come to the trackday on Monday 15/9 and have not notified me, can you please do so immediately at compsec@mx5clubqld.com.au
If you know of anyone else who is planning to attend, also ask them to send me a note.
If you have already had email from me, I have got you covered already.

Please advise:
Name
Preferred Race Number
Transponder (if you know it)
Car Make/Model/Year/colour
Engine capacity cc
Turbo, SC or not
Registration number
Class (see http://www.mx5clubqld.com.au/?page_id=35 for choices)
Preferred Group or previous laptimes for Qr or Lakeside

I am asking this so I can start finalising groups etc. to minimise paperwork on Monday morning.

Thanks
Adam Shipway

Stop early for coffee - newish cafe at Middle Park shopping centre (main entrance opposite real state agent) or 'stand' at the entrance to the bowls club at Darra Station.

Could meet you at Middle Park?
