So, I went to buy new tyres.
I had decided on Bridgestone RE002, Order them. No one has any in stock, including bridgestone themselves. Upgraded to their flagship tyre, the S001... Nil stock too.
Mate at Bob Jane recommends the Falcon RT615 to me, didn't mention the k part of it, so I hope he means the newer ones. He is normally right on the money with advice, he recommended the re002's to me with a previous car. AWESOME.
Done some research, it reviews petty bad in the wet. But it's always hard to tell with review sites.
I also had another recommendation of Federal RSR.
I urgently need help as I badly need tyres as I am sliding around a bit at the moment.
I have car booked in for Thursday, but I need to order the tyres in tomorrow.
Can anyone give some feedback on these two tyres for overall performance, but more specific WET performance. I use my car in all weather. I bought it to drive rain or shine. I don't want to go sliding off on a wet old pac or mcars run. As mentioned, my old re002's were great in rain if someone has a diret comparison.
Cheers to anyone that helps. And quick feedback is MUCH appreciated.
Btw, car is 2000 nb2 with 17" racing hart wheels (just waiting for LOKIEL now)

You won't be sorry with the RSR. I fitted 215 40 17 at $165 ea on 7 inch rims. They inspire a lot of confidence and in the wet too. On a recent run one of the guys commented that the amount of spray off my tyres was more than the others threw up.

Too blardy right! I could barely see where I was going!
I've got Dunlop SP Sportmaxx on my RH rims, very happy with their wet performance so far but they're a bit more expensive than most.....
