Wonderful news. How does ticket/lunch pricing for the picnic work if you join on the day? Is it still priced at $25 pp?

I'm coming down to sydney this weekend so hope to get there. Does anyone know if they have a swap meet at the picnic? I have some mx5 bits that I need to get rid of and sounds a good chance to offload..

If you join on the day, your lunch will be free provided you have already preregistered your intention to attend. However it is much simpler and easier for everyone involved if you just join online now. Takes 10 minutes to complete the web form and pay securely via credit card. If you're having trouble with registering your membership please call Keith on 0418 976 279 and he will happily help.

Not formally, but please bring those spares and there will be no problem selling them from your boot.

Work is being very unhelpful (11 days in a row), looks like I'll have enough time to hose the car briefly before heading out for the day...... :(

Will there be a trophy for the most half arsed prep for the show'n'shine?

No won't be going, did a bit of damage under the front when I spun on corner 2 last session yesterday. Had the lining fall off on a front pad (less than 1/2 worn) when baking from 145kph. Bits of cord holding parts on would loose a few points. I'm not in a hurry to fix it - bit disillusioned with part suppliers atm.
i'm also a bit disappointed that modded cars are not a class in concourse, only show & shine  Most NA & NBs have a few mods.

Nope, I'm out. Need more seats up for the climbing comp than the NA has. Sad face.

Hmmm, ... "covered in mud" might be a bit of an exaggeration, ... yes it was dirty ... a bit.
This year I might just bring the race car .... then if anyone complains about the "mud", ... dents etc ... I can just say "because race car"!
BTW Reggie, are you offering the car wash service again this year? :-P

Had totally missed this, having been a bit out of the MX5 loop for awhile now until I saw the club email yesterday and that it was being held close by in Lane Cove. Is there any problem in dropping by and checking it out for an hour or two in the morning before piking?

Looks good, I'll be there. Won't be in my car as it can't fit 3 people (havn't fitted a cage to back of car to strap people too yet?
But keen to meet a few people on here. Looking forward to it.
