Re: how hard is washing an mx5?
I rely on tank water and use a $1.00 wash (avoid those horrid brushes), soap, soak , glass and wheels with cloths, pressure rinse and then a soft water rinse, I hand wash it two or three times a year. It is like washing a big bar of soap.
Greg.
Edit... It is not my daily but gets out a couple of times a week.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Do this every couple of years whether it seems to need it or not.

Would you plead 'justifiable homicide'?

Updated with pics - the judge would give me a medal instead of a sentence...

No........ the judge would sentence you to washing his car for the term of your natural life!

Re: how hard is washing an mx5?
hey, i forgot the most important thing.
get a metal hanger and make it straight. wrap some tape on one end make it like a little ball.
then push the rubbish out of the drain hole behind the seatbelt.
otherwise your car is gonna smell bad after wash.
