One thing I can confirm is Duran Duran means nothing to me and what's a real life Takumi or references to cardigans which seem so passé . I do think Manga is correct and the MX5 does have an image to live up to.

and that is, to a reasonable extent, the consequence of how they've marketed the car for the past 10 years.
