You shouldn't have worried at all. So what if it looks like the fake one?

It might pair up beautifully with the dodgy headers that you claimed "How do you know the product is crap if you have not used it?". LOL.

It might also go along nicely with the :
"Pretty sure I've got the only Spurt cat back exhaust in Australia. No name but it is the works better than any of the well known brands. Crackles and when you lift the accelerator it sounds like a machine gun ... just awesome."

X Force headers have been explained above.
As have people's issues with the CX Racing and their "tuned" headers, the issue is not manufacturing nation but the quite obviously UN-equal length of each runner. They may as well have advertised them as being pink in colour, it's about as accurate as "tuned"

As for popping and crackling, that's not a sign of a good catback. It's pretty difficult to make a bad catback.

Mine pops crackles and sets off car alarms, it's a hodge podge of leftover steel pipe, a random highflow cat, and a hollow muffler with a 4 or 5 inch tip.

I've just looked it up.

it's a de-cat pipe and a muffler.
http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/userid/ ... parts.aspx

Biggest difference on that system is the lack of a cat, which I wouldn't call a complicated part that only Spurt can make.... it's just a 10inch length of pipe.

Muffler, well for power you'd just have a straight through, for reduced noise (or to make it sound different) you'd design baffles/wadding/etc.

So yeah, about the only thing I see on the spurt system that couldn't be made by the apprentice at any exhaust shop is the muffler.

Do you mean like this?
This is what an exhaust and intake should sound like! :P

Use the radio buttons. You may have to modify the URL from https to http.
Good luck

Where'd he go? I need to know the results of his headers and Chinese knockoff filter.
