I'd be sanding the paint off the hose fittings.
And I'd also be removing the paint from the gasket valleys.

Also, you shouldn't paint hose barbs, it makes fitting hoses a bit harder and you risk getting paint flakes in the hose.
Prefer a uniform finish and not to over do things. 95% happy with the result. The wrinkle paint for some reason as you can see from the pics did not wrinkle as well along the sides between the cams.

The designer of the engine upgrade for the first NA deliberately left the cam cover unpainted because he thought some enthusiasts would like to polish the cover.
