Have you tried Pezchops fix? He was spot on for my squeak.

No I have not tried it yet, but it seams easy enough to do so shouldn't take long to try it out. The squeak is intermittent so will be hard to tell if it fixes it in the long run. I actually still need to do my gearbox oil (I can't break loose the fill and drain plugs or fear of rounding them, especially the square shaped fill plug) so I will dab some grease on the clutch pivot joint when I am under the car with my next attempt.

Very common for the bonnet hinges to squeek when its closed.

Bit of a necro but I did this yesterday, as well as a bit of white lithium grease on the door hinges and, most effectively, the hinges in the seats. Took quite a bit of noise out and, to be honest, the Jaffa felt a bit fresher to drive (may have been the noise reduction).
