Hey guys, recently i have come across some strange vibrations from my clutch and accelerator pedals...
I am 100% sure it never use to do it....
It started to do it after replacing my oem rubber clutch line which decided to split on me.
In the process of replacing the clutch line and the slave cylinder...i had to unwind hardline as well as the "pigtail" part of it to loosen and tighten the rubber line. In doing so i was unable to wind it back into the original shape but managed to get it attached to the slave. Fixing up the clutch line i only noticed the vibration a week later.
I could be just overly paranoid but when i rev the car to about 3000-4000 rpm the clutch pedal buzzes only when the clutch pedal is pressed(it doesn't rattle or make any noise just a tactile feeling). It still drives fine... the clutch doesn't feel too different (maybe its abit harder to find the friction point smoothly on 1st and 2nd gear).
Last week I serviced the car and changed my engine,gearbox and diff oil but still had the same vibration.
I raised the issue to my mechanic and he suggested that maybe the pressure plate is going? would this be true? As a full time student, i don't want to fork out 700 buks to get my clutch changed and not fix the problem.
Also when driving i can feel the engine vibrations though my accelerator pedal.... I did tighten the throttle cable recently ... would this perhaps be one of the causes?
Hope you guys can suggest something? and possibly had a similar issue before?
I just want my car healthy and running smoothly.
Suspected problems through research:
-leaking exhaust /rattling exhaust.... which i do have and will be replacing this week.
-Pressure plate / clutch
-Engine mounts
-Vibrations from clutch line?

i would lean towards the clutch itself not engaged/disengaged 100% since you are playing around with the fluids recently. and the harmonics are being picked up at a certain rev range. similar to a out of balance flywheel.
first step i would take is to blead the clutch lines again, and take it from there.
but check all the easy stuff also like engine mounts.

Could also try a brake joint to make up a flexible line to go from the master cylinder to the slave.

Yes i will check the engine mounts first and then see if i can notice any difference with bleeding my clutch fluids....
if that does not fix the issue, i suspect a flywheel or pressure plate?

also i have checked the clutch line and it seems to vibrate where the slave is when engine is revved.
If that is the issue i am most likely going to get a stainless steel braided line from the slave to the master cylinder.
