Just ordered one of these including a harness.... Gonna measure the Ethanol live in the fuel line, and then adjust the tune (spark and fuel) to suit!

So will you have a 98 and an e85 map and it blends them depending on octane level? Or is it like compensation maps as a percentage?

But essentially I could do both - it would depend on how complex I wish to go.
I'll probably just tune for PULP on the Dyno and add more fuel/advance by a preset amount (initially) and may then return to the Dyno to see what impact (positive I'd hope) the basic additions have had (and simply tune them to see if I can get to a good place). If not, yep, a full table is available to blend them.

Oh, and it measures Ethanol, not octane.... so really I guess I will need at least E10 in the tank or the sensor will error saying it is out of range (but the MS3 does have a way to cope with that too).

I've been logging a lot of daily drives and spirit sessions in my ITB setup and found the following.
1) Coolant engine temps rise quickly, but it is not until the radiator temp hits 90 that air temp rises - meaning water temp in the radiator is low until the thermo opens fully.
2) Once under bonnet air temps rise to 40-50 deg they stay about at that temp - meaning that for the most part of a 15 min trip, the air temps remain low, but then rise as if warm air is being introduced.
3) That driving slowly or hard doesn't seem to impact the under bonnet air temps - meaning that regardless of how hard I dare drive, the under bonnet air temps don't go nuts or climb above the ceiling I've seen when driving calmly (less heat/engine temps)
4) That under bonnet air temps oscillate in the same frequency as the coolant temps - ie they go up and down in a similar pattern to the coolant temps. This is the most interesting, as it shows (to me) that as the thermo opens, and puts hot water into the radiator, it then washes the engine bay with warmer air, then when it cools quickly and the thermo shuts, the warm air is reduced. I have nice graphs showing this oscillation that goes on for an entire trip lasting 30 mins of various driving conditions.
Based on 2, 3 and 4, I'm beginning to wonder if the under bonnet air temp is largely a factor of the radiator washing over the ITB cold side (where the sensor is located).
As such, as a cheap solution that wouldn't be too hard to test is building a thin metal shroud/diverter might help keep warm air away, and provide a separate path for cold/fresh air up over the radiator and bonnet.
I might start with a cardboard mock and then move to thin sheet metal to finalise and test.

I had a run in with the police Friday night who said my filter socks were not road legal and to get an air box fitted. Might be worth keeping in mind while your making mock ups.

They said can't have valve cover venting to atmosphere. Either. also didn't like exposed cam gear (though not technically illegal).

gslender my track data does not show the same pattern as yours. Rather it shows about a constant separation temp range between the outside air and the ITB air temp whilst traveling at speeds. When the car is stopped the heat soak really starts as the air being pulled through by the fans is not being extracted from under the bonnet hence causes the heat soak. The data also shows that the air is leaking from under the bonnet and back through the mouth!
This is a 80 min clip from January (Coomera to Boonah) and with the GV bonnet. This shows that the GV bonnet actually kept the under bonnet temps much lower (when moving) than the OEM bonnet from my recent track day. But again the heat soak issue when stopped. However there maybe a pattern similar to yours, that is coolant increasing and ITB air temp increasing.
Blue = speed, purple = mouth air temp, red = ITB air temp, green = water temp, orange = no1 cyl exhaust temp.

Easier on the jenvys then on the Toyota units. Don't forget you will need to balance the butterfly's and idle screws.
