Oil sampling makes sense when the engine costs $15,000 but a used NB engine with low klms is $1500 fitted, so I'll just swap my oil after every track day and take my chances. Obviously if I was thinking of hitting 8000 rpm on a regular basis then my used NB would fly apart regardless of the oil and tests, so, as always it depends.

Oil sampling cost is around $35 a time.

Wow, including the removal, sending, advice and assessment on what it means... that's good value. Who are you using?
