Re: BEAVIS' White Track Car
There will still be plenty of air above the flat floor.

It's a consideration, but not a concern.

Re: BEAVIS' White Track Car
My diff was particularly chattery after the Wakefield 300 a few years ago. When I dropped the fluid out of concern the Royal purple diff oil had turned into apple juice...and that was with 90kw and no airflow obstruction. The redline in the gearbox was fine but we decided to do a little last minute weight reduction and pulled the carpet and centre console... transmission tunnel temperature was high enough to burn your hand after parking. I'll say everything is still working as I have both the same Diff/Trans now with a lot more power... extreme example as it's about 2 hours of tracktime but it shows that temperature is already just building up. I hope it's fine but it's on my 'nice to do' list to add diff/trans oil temperature sensors. They're about... $25 for the bosch motorsport ones. Unfortunately there's still quite a few items on my 'must fix' list before that.

It's an Alucobond type material.... with a coreflute style centre.

Hmm, thanks for the insight. I think if i ever did more than the 15min sessions I currently do, I could unbolt the floor as peace of mind.

Re: BEAVIS' White Track Car
New aero set up. Partly finished, but works well. Was making massive rooster tails in the wet sessions. So shows how well it is working.

Have to zoom in on the back of the car to see the spray of water. It wasn't as wet on the straight so is harder to see.

Re: BEAVIS' White Track Car
Only problem with all the aero is the car looks like it is a full on race car. So many people get a surprise when they find out it just has a stock driveline and brakes.

Re: BEAVIS' White Track Car
I think your are looking at the braces. The wing mounts need something to stop them swaying and flexing.
