Re: BRASS MONKEY & MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB EVENTS 2014
Hi all,
My wife and I had a great time on our 1st Brass Monkey and hopefully it won't be our last. Even the threatening weather couldn't dampen the spirits of the attendees. We met some lovely people this time 'round and hope to meet a few more of you on future runs. Anyhow, I've added a couple sets of the day. I'm not sure of the protocol here with photographs, so if anyone is unhappy with any of these shots, please forgive me, no offense was intended. Peace, Wayne & Cathy Lang.

My pleasure Phil. We have some large size copies if you'd like them. Reply to rockstar@exemail.com.au and I'll send them on. Great day wasn't it? A real shame about the young couple that hit the kangaroo and of course Michael, who I believe is feeling fine.

You're more than welcome mate. Yes there were some looks of bewilderment by a few onlookers. Something along the lines of... What! The middle of winter, and it's raining, and they have the roof down... Are they all mad? I think you can only understand if you've experienced it first hand, but it was fun seeing the looks of some people. I know we got a real buzz out of looking back and seeing a long line of these great little cars snaking their way along those country roads. Definitely a lot of fun. Cheers again for your comment.

Yes there are less of the classic cars going on this run , those that own them are usually getting a bit older and so are their cars I have been a Brass Monkey Run participant since .... about 1983 I attended my first one in a 1978 mini so I thought it was appropriate that I attend the last one in my 1963 mini I had a ball next time I will probably take the MX5.

G'day IMMX5,
I was wondering if you'd be kind enough to send me any of the photos you have with my car in them please?
Our's was the maroon coloured NB. I see it in several of the pics you have up here which would be great to have in a larger size. If you can, could you send them to rockstar@exemail.com.au. Thank you.
Kind regards, Wayne Lang.
