Raise height by 1cm

Postby 22Silver » Fri Jul 04, 2014 2:59 pm

I need to raise my ride height by less than a cm (I'm like 97mm at lowest point)

I have a few options..
1) Somehow carve out like 100kg of car and let gravity (or lack thereof) do the trick
2) Block the springs by 1cm?
3) Put stock rear springs on the REAR only. This would have a little rake effect and hard front soft rears. I feel like this is probably stupid and would throw the balance right out though (currently have Mazdaspeed spring all round)

What would jesus do?

Is this to get around a canary?
If so, then:
1.
TTT wrote:50psi in to tyres

2. Present with a fuel tank that is almost empty.
3. Take spare wheel, jack, etc out of boot.
4. Do a Wun911 and remove passenger seat.
or
5. Fitter another set of wheels with higher profile tyres or that have an increased overall diameter.

and if this is not for RWC purposes, then:

Is it just for a pit pass? I think your spring rates are 3.8f and 2.8r so if its just at the back you're too low remove 16.8kg of fuel and there's your 3mm. Tyres to 50psi as TTT says.

Is this the same bloke who got pinged before for a low car and wanted to argue the toss with the law about what surface it was measured on etc.- and the engine that did not run well without oil etc etc. Poor car - it has its ups and downs.
