Aha! I did notice the tall shifter and remember I spent a while clicking it about because I knew it was a 6 speed.

I can't say I found it any less nicer than the 5 speed and certainly not a distraction.. that's a big thumbs up from me then

Mind you, there were other distractions to deal with and besides, I didn't have the opportunity to do the dreaded 4 to reverse mis-shift... Still, all coming together now finally...

Now... trackday bro ... Miata is the BEST .. THE BEST!!
