my mazda
Hello All I dont think I have Posted up a Garage thread on here ..Sorry if I have
I'm half dead So please forgive me for not putting much effort into the texts will do next time.
After Losing my License in my AW11 (stupid Reasons Like not have Front P plate on........*I am now on my Blacks) I sold it and bought a E30 thinking that it would keep me out of trouble; kinder like a car to Signify that I decided to grow up and become Boring. this lasted for around 9 months I had to get rid of it. it was sucking my soul and clouding my Judgement into thinking that affordable Euro Cars Post 1965 were any good.
I went on the search for another MR2 thinking that this would make my beliefs in cars come back again. I knew I wanted another 2 seater Coupe (kinda stupid as I am 6ft4 Tall haha) . it had to be light and nimble but also something that wasnt too easy to drive aswell... then after Listing all these down the formulae all came together = it had to be a MX5. it ticked all the boxes:
-its a coupe
-Infinite amount of headroom (depending on your Religion)
-lighter then Starvin Marvin.
-No Power Assist (WOOPWOOP)
It also reminded me of my childhood aswell as one of my Primary School Teachers Owned one.
So here it is:
What Have I done to it:
Well after a month the clutch died in the arse (reason it was cheap) So doing Research I found the cheapest place to do a Replacement was in Campbelltown at only 480 dollars fitted it made my car feel New again.
and yesterday I decided I hated the look of the wheels so i went out and bought a can of Potbelly Black and this is the end Result:
Notice Datsun in background....if anyone wants to give me a interview for another Job (as bunnings isn't the most intelligent places to be if you like to spend $$$ on cars) I would gladly show that to you haha

Re: my mazda
Ordered some flares off carbon miata to help with the 15x8 5 offset enkeis lol
How much should it cost roughly to install?

Re: my mazda
IMO those wheels will look so sunken with flares, 8" +5 fits under stock body, stretch the tyres and add more neg camber to fit them, or buy more aggressive wheels to go with the flares.
As far as installation goes, it's simply an angle grinder/drill/rivets and paint. All of that can be DIY.
Some body work shops charge a lot, best to call around to get the best deal.

Re: my mazda
The flares only add 30mm because of the size of semi slick I'm running it will fit flush but I agree with front being "sunken though I will fix that with some hub centrics

Re: my mazda
Hating the thread title, it's clearly misleading because this car is definitely NOT one of "my mazda"s.
