> MCA weren't keen on urethane bushes in general
Not looking to start a flame war , as I'll readily admit I'm out of my league.
However, the double wishbone suspension of the MX-5 is one the few non-strut based suspensions out there and thus the bushes are not subject to multiple degrees of freedom.
Doesn't the STi version of the WRX Impreza add rear toe control rods to mitigate the flex the rubber bushes introduce?
Rubber bushes on strut suspension for sure.
On double A-arms I would think poly might have an advantage in suspension control.
I've been looking at the black Powerflex bushes which have a SS crush tube which might have less stiction than the Energy Suspension / Prothane offerings.
The price though is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Nick.
