Currently fueling up or outside gundagai. Been a great drive so far, roof down most of the way, beautiful country side. I realise in talking to the converted, but is there any thing better than blasting along on a sunny winters day, with the top down and the rock 'n' roll up?

Only sharing it with someone who enjoys it as much as you.
Get used to smiling more often and spending more on sunscreen.
Safe home.

Just got word, Lachy made it to Sydney ok and is recovering at the only place appropriate for a Friday night!

I'll be catching up with him at the 'Pie in the Sky' at Cowan on Sydney Northern outskirts on his way out of town at around 9:30-10:00am if anyone wants to join us.

Lol, that's excellent. Anyone else notice I pulled up to the wrong pump side?

Eh, if the pump can reach it's the right side, dunno why people get so hung up on that. Congrats on the purchase, looks a beaut.

A pleasure to finally meet you this morning Lachy!
Although staring at that fixed, constant grin of yours got a little disconcerting after a while...... :?

That's certainly a good SE you managed to score there mate, just the usual little things you've got to expect from a 10 year old car.....
A couple of small things to do as a priority when you get home, mainly that rain-rail drain, radiator..... and probably focus on doing something with that 7" exhaust tip, it looks just plain silly!

I snapped a couple of shots while there, hopefully they've come out a little better than a phone camera!

......and there's that silly grin again.....

Stop it or you'll scare the missus when you get home tomorrow!

I know that BP!! It's at the Dog on the Tuckerbox north of Gundagai - I used to live in Wagga Wagga

Well done Lachy and congratulations, you waited, you were patient and made no hasty decisions - enjoy the drive back mate and see you next weekend for coffee!!

PS: Nevyn, that grin is always there!

My SE Pilgramage took me there too, didn't take any pics at the BP but I snapped this

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Nice pic Okibi!! a $$ for every time i've been past it and well remember many many years ago! Shame the area is not maintained to the degree it should be but it's always a 'pitstop' for me either heading down to WW or on the return run. The house over from it next the where Snake Gully used to be has weeds as high as a cow's eye, and a blow up pool in amongst that. I go back to when the highway actually went thru Gundagai and over the rickety wooden bridge, semi's and all!
