Alright not a whole lot has been happening lately, mainly just ordering parts and waiting on them to be delivered. Once the baffle arrives from Japan and the motor gets the new water pump, timing kit and gaskets etc it will be going to my fabricator for all the pipe work to be done.

Baffle is in, new timing kit and water pump also went on last night. Now its just the intake gaskets, put the new injectors on and give it a clean

Its been a while since I posted, not a great deal has been happening lately as a shop stuffed me around big time, I've just been slowly organising bits and pieces.

I thought I would try out a set of the ultra racing fender braces, now I haven't had a chance to take the car on a good drive yet but initial thoughts are they improve the feel of the steering in a way that it feels it has more point earlier on and the scuttle is reduced but not 100% gone.

I also fitted up a black nb soft top as I got over the blue one when I fitted the spoiler, still having an issue getting the tree sap off though after trying boiling water, vinyl cleaner, vinyl revivor, eucalyptus oil and dishwashing detergent. Any more ideas?

I reckon just leave the tree sap, it will wear away by itself.

The manifold was pretty much finished off last week, just need to clean it up and get it ceramic coated. The intercooler has been mounted and the pipework completed, oil cooler has also been mounted.

Here are a few better shots of the manifold.

Bit of a progress shot. The intercooler piping was finished off last week, the oil cooler position was mocked up and dump pipe was started on. I still need to get a coolant re-route, at the moment I'm looking at the 949 Racing one, does anyone have any opinions or advice on them? I also have to order a new alloy radiator to replace the standard one to keep everything nice and cool.
