NA6 SPEAKERS REPLACEMENT HELP!!!

Postby Malisaaaaa » Wed Jun 18, 2014 10:08 pm

Hi guys

My head rest speakers are gone and I was wondering what people have replaced them with or if I'm better off getting some 6x9s and tweeters

What are some good decent brands and prices etc?

Thanks heaps :)

Headrest speakers - I threw them out. They were overbearing compared to the rest of the system and completely threw out the sound stage.

6x9's are for the rear parcel shelf of VN Commodores. 6.5" splits are the most common size around and will give you a good all round. 2in1 component speakers are easier to install but component splits (separate woofer and tweeter) are usually better for the same money.

Walk into any car audio store in the country, take your own cd with some sample songs you're familiar with, listen to an assortment of speakers and buy what you like/are prepared to pay for. Your ears will tell you what sounds good to you with your music.
