Need somebody local (south SYD) to drive my NA8
I'm in Blakehurst Southern Sydney and just picked up a low kay NA8. Been a good while since I drove my first NA8 and have dríven an NA6 and dual fuel Falcon since (plus work fleet cars). I forget what an NA8 should feel like and I'm not sure if there's a hesitation / flat spot between 2-3k rpm that shouldn't be there, or whether I'm just too used to the 6 cyl falcon. I just put new NGK plugs & leads in and it may have improved a bit.
So I'm looking for an NA8 owner, who knows their own car's characteristics well, to take mine for a spin and tell me what u reckon. Happy to bring it round to your place if you're in St George or Sutho Shire area.

Thanks mate, i'd done a fair bit of searching and googling but didn't happen to see that one. Air filter was very dusty actually, looked at it yesterday and just banged it on the driveway to get dust out lol. Will buy and install a new one tomorrow. Also might run 98 for next few weeks, and new fuel filter is next cab off the rank... oh yeah, and check timing.
Still happy for somebody else to try it out if close by.

If it's Regie's car you'll be needing one of these too!

Also worth carefully cleaning the MAF hotwire with MAF spray cleaner.

I have an NA8 Clubman and live in the shire. I don't have Regie's experience or offer of an NC to thrash, but happy to help if I can.
