fuses
Hi i think i have short out my audio. I find that there is still 14V running through the cable to my audio. It still releases the cd however it doesnt turn on to play anything. only thing that works is taking the cd out of it and thats it. I checked my fuses and the audio fuse is missing but doesnt show any sign of a fuse once being there. Does anyone know the problems thanks.

Re: fuses
Do your interior lights turn on? The room fuse might be blown or missing. The stereo needs two 12V sources to power. One constant always on and the other switching on with accesory power when you turn the key.

Re: fuses
Only other thing I can think of is the fuse on the back of the headunit itself. Where is the missing audio fuse you mentioned?

You may find that's the holder for the amp that isn't fitted to Australian delivered cars.....
*hint* if there isn't fuse there now and it worked before you haven't blown it!
PS> if you're in Sydney I have an OEM 6 stacker CD/radio looking for a home.
