PANEL TECH BODY WORKS

Postby Dundy2456 » Wed Jun 11, 2014 10:30 pm

Hey Everyone,

These guys just came to my attention via Facebook, wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with them? They are offering closed door resprays for $1500 (supposedly with lifetime warranty) which is -very- tempting.

They seem to have good reviews so far, but because their price is relatively cheap I'm weary to consider them. Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there.

Cheers
Chris

I don't know the company but cheap paints jobs are cheap for reason. Painting is all about time, preparation , facilities cost of materials etc. All paint shops have direct and indirect overheads so one way of offering a cheaper alternative is spending less time doing it and that does relate to closed door resprays. A lifetime warranty is probably unenforceable i.e. businesses close and how is the warranty defined.

Interesting.
Maybe go to a few local spray shops and get a quote for the MX5.
You may (or may not) be surprised...

Ring Assaf, as I would suggest that the closed door price will just be a "blow over" and not a colour change...
(not that you would do a colour change unless it was an in and out job)
Also suss out what paints they are using for that price.

I do know that panel/spray shops are having a harder time of things lately, especially since insurance companies have their "preferred" repairers, so non preferred repairers
are having to work harder to get customers.
