WTD (badly)-soft top repair Melb

Postby ausbuoy » Wed May 28, 2014 11:18 pm

Can I get any recommendations for seamstress(or the male equivalent) in Mel to sew a window back in to my soft top.
Stitching has just come away, and the perspex is still good so sew it back in is the need.

Blackmans car trimmers can do it for you. They have a few branches around, best to look them up in the white pages.

I'm in the Western suburbs area, and tried the 'Blackmans' outfit as well as a trimmer at Newport. All have plenty of business in the short term, and since I will be driving the car back to Brisbane next week, will probably just 'run the gauntlet' weather wise, and get it attended to in due course back there where I have a hardtop alternative.
Thanks for the interest though:)

I heard that Grant White in Rosanna is good 94583479- doing the job is quick but starting is the usual thing.

Some auto-trimmers will only work on the MX5 NA rear plastic window if the softtop is removed.
