I've always used Nulon oils in my transmissions, at one stage there was over 1,000,000 kms in the family fleet with no transmission failures. I have always added G70. My old Isuzu had 550,000 on original transmissions when I sold it with no noise. My daughters Corolla had ended up with 360,000 kms when she bought it it had a bit of a gbox whine at 100,000b so I added G70 and it did another 260k kms.
No I don't work for them - but they support MX5 Club activities.

People never quite seem to get it. A slight baulk cold is normal though perhaps an already worn box can be improved??. A sure fire way to bugger gearboxes is going for the fastest change in the Southern Hemisphere and once the synchros are worn thats it. You can have a perfectly good gear change using the recommended oil and using the right technique. If an athlete has an injury then masking it with pain killers can end up doing more harm. When the gearbox is cold then change with sympathy from 1st to 2nd.
