Driver's brief was set for 12:00 noon. If brief can come forward 30-45 minutes all should be good.

What a fantastic day. Was good to finally run with cars of similar power and times. Iv done a few days at QR before but this was my first with the MX5 club.

Got about 3 PB's so Im stoked with that, car ran flawlessly as always, new sparco seat helped massively. Was enjoyable getting to the top of 4th gear (7000 rpm @ 165 km/h) down the back straight on the sportsman session.

Thanks to everyone that makes these days happen and especially the staff at QR :D

Had a lot of fun pushing for new PBs today. Managed to improve Clubman and Sprint PBs both by 1.9 seconds, down to 1:07.4 and 1:04.8 respectively. Definitely found that the thicker sway bars need to be adjusted to make it more neutral, tail happy is an understatement. Had a fun moment at turn 1 in the last Clubman session trying to improve my PB in the final lap or two, tried a little too hard and lost it at T1. The bird sitting in the gravel seemed a bit startled to be almost run over.

Knackered. But happy.
There are PBs too. Small improvements on Clubman and Sprint. And great to really test the brakes on Sportsman and National.

Clarkie did a good job getting various angles, lots of shots of all the cars that ran a few sessions.

Never had so much fun, way better than working on a Monday. So many thanks to John and Brian from the MX5 Club and QLD Raceway staff, without them we have nothing! Thanks to everybody else who showed up and put a car around the track, what an amazing turnout of like-minded folk. :D :NA8:

cheers

Keith
