Front and rear sway bar

Hi, i have nb8b and i have upgraded my rear sway bar and still using the stock front sway bar. Is it better if i also upgrade my front as well or just leave it stock which would be fine?

If the NB8B responds the same as my NB8A, the other way around would be better. With both upgraded bars, mine is very tail-happy. I hear a few people have success using a bigger front bar and stock rear, but not the other way around. Mine are both set to the middle stiffness though, so if I stiffen the front and soften the rear it should balance a little more.

Hmmm, I've been thinking of upgrading the front on my NA6.

I've seen racing beat front bars advertised for $250.

Would this improve stability/turn in and is there any other front bars I should consider?

I'm using a white line one at the moment and it's does the job for me.

Spend your money on your springs/dampers - I went back to factory sway bars after putting my coil overs in.

arent your springs like 10kg though? cant really compare that with stock/king/koni springs
bang for buck, id prefer some stiffer sway bars

ever since MCA suggested running stock bars everyones been jumping on that boat. id rather follow the american trend of beefier front bars setups considering theyve got a lot more experience and results to back it up

There isn't enough info in this thread. Suspension is a system, you can't just 'upgrade' one part and hope it's better.

In reality a swaybar can't be upgraded, just like a spring it can only be softer or stiffwr and depending which one you make stiffer or softer and the combo of other parts and setup you may make it taily or understeery or harsher or better or worse.

Its not a part that you can just 'upgrade'.

If it oversteers put a thicker one in the rear or thinner in the front.

If it understeers, the opposite.

I have bilstein's and king springs. If I changed the front sway bar to a white line or racing beat, what could I expect handling wise?

9kg front yeah. That was my point get better springs and shocks.

Yes MCA suggested it to me but I'm only suggesting it to other because I had the aftermarket bars and tried stock and found it better.

Isn't that the other way around? Reduce oversteer by softening the rear suspension, to squat more and skate less?

there is more to handling than just springs and sways but getting the combination balanced 'for your application' will give best results. Copying what others have done may just mean you are copying there mistakes
