i will also be making up my own DIY racing beat inspired intake with custom made heat shield and heat reflective tape/insulation. there are a few diy intake threads out there. WAY better than paying for over priced bits of plumbing and cloth

i plan on running x force 4 2 1 headers, custom join to a 100cell cat, racing beat center pipe with resonator and racing beat rear muffler. x force currently don't heave headers in stock unfortunately
Stock cat at the mo
100 cell is on its way to me.
I have 2 cat back systems. A & B.
'A' is 2.25 inch with press bends to a sports muffler don't know brand. I like the sound this system makes.
'B" is 2.25 inch with mandrel bends, 2 resonators and restrictive/super quiet muffler. I like how this system looks and fits but that muffler is going to have to go!
I may end up cutting the muffler off cat back 'B' adding some flanges, so I can swap between restrictive super quiet muffler and sports muffler.
I guess I'm only keeping the quiet muffler for resale purposes...

Sweet! I know right.
My first trip to mania I was buying some miscellaneous parts; alternator, battery, hold down brackets, new discs etc. My bill was $200/300
Had an older couple in front of me and their bill came to $600 and they had what appeared to be a few pieces of plastic.
I was buying chunks of metal that actually made the car go and stop. Guess there will always be supply vs demand.

Go with the mandrel bend system and the "louder" muffler from the other system. With the combo of 100 cell cat, two resonators and a seemingly higher flowing muffler should net you a nice performing and good sounding complete exhaust with your new headers.
