Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
1 RHS fender brace. Not as sexy as a boss frog but very strong. One might even say "over engineered"
Would look lovely in hot pink.
In all seriousness, if we were to go ahead with it I'd have all the mount plates laser cut, use a smaller RHS (just used what I had laying around the workshop) and make the ends a bit cleaner. I haven't gone through the indicator wire hole to mount like frog and arrow arms do, because just behind that where I've mounted it's double skinned, so a bit stronger to mount to.
Weight is 1.4kg

They're going ahead Bryan. Dann is posting up a group buy thread tonight. I'll have pics of finished arms up, raw on Monday, and powder coated on Wednesday.

I reckon it's just perspective...loooong manifold that pushes the turbo out, and looks really big cos it's near the camera.

Adding a support strut from the collector to the manifold flange?

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
probably nothing wrong if cas on the back, but aren't the steel pins in the cam pulley the triggers for engines with front cas, thats just what I assumed anyway.(just had another look at picture, realised cutaway tappet cover must mean no front cas,D'oh.its been a long day)
