Volunteer to inspect a car for me? (VIC)

Postby ManiacLachy » Fri May 23, 2014 11:59 am

There is an SE I'm interested in at a dealership in Frankston, however being that I'm in Brisbane I can't easily check it out. I was wondering if anyone in the area could go down on the weekend and give it a look over?

I'm not asking for a mechanical inspection, just a visual inspection and general impression on the condition of the car, body/paint and interior. I would also welcome any general thoughts you might have on the car. I will take your opinion as just that (though much appreicated), and there would be no liablity assumed on your behalf.

The car is on Carsales here: http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Mazda-MX-5-2004/AGC-AD-15713317/?Cr=1&sdmvc=1

And the dealership is at the Bayside Auotomotive camp on Dandenong Road, specifically I beleive it's in the Bayside Nissan lot.

Thanks for any help!

Will someone please help poor Lachy out?

The poor guy's like a puppy in a pet shop when a bunch of school kids wander in, if he doesn't get an SE soon he'll probably explode! :D

I'm up for this if they're open Sundays.

It's probably in the lot, so a walk by would likely be possible. You couldn't really check out the interior, but you could peak through the glass

We'll keep him sane over the weekend! Lots of coffee and a few sedatives plus another ride in a 5 :MOCHA_LES:

Looking forward to the chats. And the coffee. And the cars!

I have Kev, it's in my favorites ;) To would be my preferred colour, but I plan on checking this one out next weekend if I can. I also want to check out Tomli's TICO, which is also for sale in bris, and is also VR (and quite modded). Just exploring all options.

Let me know if you've decided you want the car in Frankston if it is as described and I'll try to look at it on my mid week RDO. No point looking at it while red is your preferred colour though.

Damn auto correct! Meant to say Ti is my preferred colour. Dave don't go to too much trouble, I'm just a curious about it. Looks OK in the add, but nothing like trusted eyes you know.

Much appreciated, just be careful he doesn't boot you out mid drive and abscond with your vehicle!* :|

* I'm sure he'd bring it back....... eventually......
