Hopefully I can make it, partner dependant!

Picked up the car from Automotive Plus, it feels completely different, revs clean, crisp and an awesome sound, plus more torque across the rev range. Could not 'unleash' it on the way home, however Jap Nats should see what the new tune is like as well as the improved lower down torque.

Also have a new alignment.

I'm polishing my nuts - less wind resistance I'm told - wheel nuts that is!

Give mine a clean over the weekend, maybe ven a polish seeing it's tipped to be around 27-28c and forecast Monday is around 27 and fine

This is hopefully the last track day normally aspirated. Automotive plus build of the new engine is progressing so I'm hoping to run in with the SC next time.

It would be good to get into the 63s on the clubman with the hairdressers car without the hair dryer.

Notice

We have been given advice that we may get on to the track 30 minutes early.
It's up to all the participants to be ready for this to happen so, be at Willowbank early (say 10:00am ish) and have all your paperwork completed - this includes a printed copy of your CTP extension - to take advantage of this offer. :D

I went under 1:08 today at Jap Nats, very happy with the car!

Will use Monday (if there) as a test day as I need to test some settings.

Car washed, tyres checked & blackened, valve caps polished, de-crapped inside so I'm ready!

Car is ready to go; changed over my wheels and brakes, then kicked the tyres a few times. Anyone want to help me do up my harness with the HANS on?

Doesn't that normally come after the first cup of coffee for the day?

Ouch. What time is the drivers briefing? Have to work that morning and will be leaving the airport 10.30 latest. Should be there 11.30. Will I still make it?

If you have no other options to get out of work earlier then they are usually accommodating; I've had to turn up half way through a session and it was OK apart from forfeiting a bit of track time. If it is your first track day and you haven't been to a briefing before then it's probably a different story though!

Cheers

All ready to go, car is prepped and cleaned. All the gear is out ready to put in the car tomorrow morning. Only thing to do is the tyre pressures in the morning when I set off :D
