Looks great Maddy. RPF1's on an NA = perfection! Where did you source the wheels from?

How did you find them to deal with? I'm looking at getting some Enkei's myself and their name keeps popping up online.

From what I heard they are the main supplier of Enkei's in Sydney. They good, didnt have any problems using them. I did have to wait 6-8 weeks for them to be shipped from Japan but it was worth the wait

Re: Maddy's Mx-5
Not much has been happening lately besides my thermo fan switch breaking.
However within the next few weeks I have plans to:
- paint my rocker cover
- new thermostat
- rocker cover gasket
- a new hose set
- new pedal set as i have none atm
and finally will have time to put my side skirts on.
In the meantime I thought Id share a few pics.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

RPF1's look awesome on any NA. Good choice. Nice progress so far as well.
More details on the STI? Im always tempted to sell the MX to buy a bug eye haha.

Peanut > GC8 > Bugeye - Great bang for buck but not as fun as the MX-5 to drive.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Depending on the day I would agree with you haha. AWD can get boring unless its wet or you're on some dirt .

That is my boyfriends 02 STI. I think its mostly stock minus coilovers but for a 12 year old car its in decent condition. Ive been looking at getting a WRX once I get off my p's but yeah mx5's are such fun to drive. But they are pretty cheap now because of theyre age and since the release of the new model and they certainly do go alirght

Re: Maddy's Mx-5
Quick update
Last week my fuel pump got replaced, tank from what is visible doesn't appear to be too bad but the filter on the other hand seems quiet dirty. She now starts much better which is good but I hope its not temporary.
I also replaced some hoses which had probably never been changed before and were terrible to try and take off.
Thermostat and gasket were also replaced and rather corroded as well as the coolant temp sensor. The gauge seems to be much more accurate which is good too.
I decided to get my rocker cover painted too which was a good decision, very happy with the results.
Overall the engine bay looks much better but still more to do and paint but that's for another time.
