Mazda Australia's digital MX-5 campaign.

Postby Okibi » Tue May 06, 2014 8:43 pm

Mazda Australia wrote:Mazda Australia is currently developing an exciting digital campaign that celebrates the three generations of the Mazda MX-5. The campaign will be going live early May.

A major part of the campaign includes a gallery with images of MX-5’s from current owners, such as yourself.
Getting involved is very easy and we’d love for you and other club members to participate and help us celebrate this iconic roadster!

The content will be populated on the landing page on Mazda.com.au via Instagram with three separate hashtags highlighting each MX-5 generation.

#mx5gen1
#mx5gen2
#mx5gen3

Using one of the above hashtags that applies to you, we’d simply require you to submit the following:
• A photo of your MX-5 with the model details
• A short blurb why you love it
• Your name and state (if you would like to be credited with the image)

If you don’t have an Instagram account, we will happily upload the images ourselves. If you could please send us the details via email to loyalty@mazda.com.au
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Is it possible to view the above without an Instagram account?
Greg.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Just click on this link, each photo is a separate tile, only appears to be 4 images so far....

I think the lack of response so far is related to there not being any real indication of how the images will actually be used in the 'digital campaign', I mean what does that mean anyway?

Also, in this wonderfully materialistic society they're not offering anything, I mean if I should go to all the of effort hitting a few buttons and beyond that actually taking a photo!.... Sheesh, I mean what's in it for me?

I'm upset that I did not use a photo of the car with its new stickers.

Ahhhh, so it appears to be mainly something featured on their corporate homepage then.

Oh, well might as well send in a piccy, need to bolster the numbers of 2nd gen cars there......
