How big are the receivers and where do you put them when on the track?

Don't mind, my crappy driving. But if you look at the corner of my seat belt you can just make it out. It's about 60mmx25mmx15mm very small. I just clip in on my race suit (shoulder)and use my I phone ear buds. I can adjust the volume that way as well.

Im half half on them..
I did find the ear plugs a little irritating, but it was good to know why the flags where/lights where going.. when you see a red/yellow flag you don't always see what is causing it, so its good to be told about the incident.

These are the ACMA registrations

Other than those it could be Citizen Band UHF

Thanks "corners".
I also found those on the ACMA site for QR, but curiously, couldn't find anything similar at Wakefield Park.
The first of those records is for a low-power FM broadcast transmitter on 87.6 MHz, so that isn't used for the raceceiver system, so, it must be one of the 400'ish Mhz frequencies in the 2nd record, or not require a license, or ... not be licensed.

Given the importance of the system for track safety, they would not use UHF CB, due to the possibility or interference, deliberate or otherwise.

From pictures I have seen of the raceceiver unit, it appears to show the frequency on the display. Can anyone who has a unit from Wakefield Park tell what the numbers are on the display please?

Thanks Craig.
That shows channel 601 and 475.5 Mhz, and that lines up with the list here:

Interesting that the ACMA site does not show a license for that frequency anywhere near Wakeield. Hopefully that just means that due to power or coverage limits, it doesn't need to be licensed.
