Just installed an AGI roll cage, but the installer is totally poop. I don't think the door bars were installed properly as my doors cant even close properly. The upholstery in the car was left so dirty after install and also some of the panel had been trimmed without prior notice too.

The door panel is totally damaged by the door bars and my doors just won't close without slamming it.

So I bought some acrylic and try to make my flat door panel, but it didn't turn out very nice, can someone give me some suggestion please? I really want to put the door cup back on and cover most off the gaps.

I didn't think you could street register a car with an AGI bar? Or maybe it is just a QLD thing, something to do with the seatbelt towers.

Is the car being turned into a track bandit? If so just cut the bottom half of the door car off.

Cheers

I use it as daily drive and weekend track car, so cutting the door panel is not good enough for me, I need to keep the door fully cover so I don't get the stick stuff all over myself.

:( I agree, hope it doesn't take long or cost much to get her back on the road. Let us know what parts you're looking for.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

So sorry Tesco, yours is one of the nicest cars attending.

It was only while watching Roscos gopro footage that I noticed you took out a wooden log.

What happened? I didn't see any brake marks.

I believed the brake pad is gone, when I pressed the brake the ABS had come on but I didn't feel the car slow down.
I had to make a decision to turn neither left, right or hit the front. but if I turned right I would have hit the cone and James (Blue NB) was coming so I gave up to turn into right, and of cause left was too tight to turn in, so I just managed to hit the island with the centre of the car and let the bottom scratch instead of left or right wheel being destroy.
Fortunately there are a few NB wrecking on ebay, I should be able to get the parts and repair before next event. :)

Hopefully the person who 'fixed' your gearbox is not involved.
