The most important key is the same with any modified engine the cylinder head. Tread carefully with this there are many people who make lots of claims but are usually short on results. Go to a race meeting speak to people who use these cars and ask who does their heads or send me a pm for my head man who uses a flow bench and is not expensive really knows his craft. Its what got my results.

Here's where the aforementioned numbers might into your thought process. So $3,500 just to do the head. Or $14,000 for a turbo car with everything done. Deduct the value of selling any existing MX5, deduct the $3,500 you didn't spend on the head etc etc.

Is it a finished car? No, but no modified MX5 is ever finished.
