The barebones S1 Elise is about 700kg, so that should be close enough for an "off the shelf" coilover. Question is what you need to do to make them fit in the right way.

sweet. I believe that has new bodywork that means you wont need to figure out some sort of bonnet scoop to clear the VVT bits

and it looks faster :)

Then just use as much MX-5 as you can, keeps the build cost nice and low so you can use it as an example for potential buyers.

Frames arrived today. If I get all the design files from Exomotive tonight, I should have a frame ready for delivery to powder on Monday, which means I'll open the workshop for everyone to view on Saturday.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks Dave, there's been a fair bit of frustration/depression in the last few months when the frames didn't arrive at Christmas as promised. Onwards and upwards from now on.
