Paid today, forms printed - hope a few got in today as not too many have notified pre yesterday! Must admit Brian has had trouble with his Internet provider

You can ring him on the number mentioned in an earlier post

Thanks

I just need to send him a text message tomorrow for me and for Callum. Already done CTP and paid, looking forward to it. Diff should be going in this Wednesday, so I've got some time to fix it if I break anything.

Thanks Ross, I just spoke with Brian and it seems he can now open emails but unable to reply and busy organising an alternative

Now appears 2 weeks out over 22 starters so given 'history' I think we can be looking at a 40+ field

Brian doesn't come here so I read thru and updated him those that have indicated they will be there, including Callum

40+? Awesome. What's the bet I'm the slowest out there on the day?

I sent Brian an email and an SMS last week when I paid, might give him a call by the end of the week. Talk about bad timing for an outage.
Because reasons.

corners I could be tempted if you are faster than me as I will be credited with the time :)

I think that it would be a good idea if there was a breif period where this sort of thing was allowed, it is not passenger laps rather car swap laps. Maybe at the end of the day?

Typically they don't have a problem with swapping cars during the timed sessions at most events. You can always take your transponder with you to the new car if you wanted as well.

I'll be aiming to beat your clubman Pb this time around, I'm down around 20kmh on the straight from you though so it'll be a challenge.

Trackphotos you set the pace through turn 1 and 2 and I will do the rest :) I can almost hit 170 down the main and 155 down the short back straight. As you can see from the picture below we are not in the big boy league... I can get 75 kmh around the last turn :(

From http://thenationals.com.au/index.php?page=queensland

The current tune was wound back (from the 182 hp) to protect the motor and allow it to run in, rumour is that GT Auto will be adding some more timing this tune. I should have the good news next week :)

I'll be aiming for 1:08.5 or better this time around, it'll be the first time with coilover, sway bars and a 4.3 LSD. I'm only looking for 8 tenths, managed 1:09.3 at the night sprints a little while ago on stock suspension, so shouldn't be too big an ask. Last time I ran the sprint circuit was a year ago, totally stock, and on ridiculously bad tyres. Should be aiming for 3-4 second improvement this time.

Looks like we could have at least three maybe four 86's running with us. Just had a call from Mike up at Tewantin about the day, very keen as he normally does the skid pan days at Gympie but now to give this a try! Last I saw his car it's an Orange GTS with full aero and had LIME GREEN wheels! Nicest guy but it will be his first ever run on a track

He's getting in contact with K1 Racesuits tomorrow, I think maybe 5 minutes from his home and also gave him the details regarding helmets

Pleasing to see so many newcomers coming together and having some fun!
