Hi all,
Very recently and suddenly the right headlight and both foglights for my NB8B stopped working. The headlights are projector headlights.
Any idea what the cause would be, other than a blown light bulb? I don't think it's the fuse because otherwise both left and right headlights would stop working. The high-beams still work.
If it is the lightbulb, do you know what the part I need to replace for the projector light? I searched around and I'm unable to find the right part number.
Cheers

Check the owners manual, you may be surprised at what you find, including fuse block info and bulb types.
Greg.
What are the chances of losing three bulbs at the same time?

My guess?
Headlight = globe
Foglights = fuse or switch
How often do you use the fog lights? These may have been out of action for some time without you noticing....

I've had both my low beams blow (hi was OK) on my old NA. Replaced globes, no problems.
Start with the globes as it is the easiest!

Start with the owners manual!, and if you are not confident with what you find, ask someone than can stand next to you for advice.

*adenoids* remember, only use genuine Mazda bulbs or globes specifically designed for your reflector type which mazda engineers spent many hours something something.
*yawn*
Yep, check manual, check fuses, check bulbs.
If you're unsure of the bulb that you need to replace, remove the one which doesn't work on the car, take it to a "specialist" (supercheap/bursons/repco/autobum would do fine) and they'll sort you out.

HB4 is the globe type you want (to avoid having to look it up in the owner's manual )
I recommend Narva +50's, but do both as they will be significantly whiter / brighter than your old globes.

Hey Ben. Glad to see that you also bought yourself an NB8B! I've moved to Sydney now, so it is slightly more difficult to come to the Thursday night meets.
