manga delivers sage advice on these things. IAs suggested borrow a coil packs from a mate- do one at a time- test drive etc that should assist in ruling that out. You can also get coil packs tested on a bench and repaired - however I cannot say for sure whether the test or the repairs are 100%. I think Manga is spot on that the old cars were easier to fix but they were far less reliable .

A set of plug leads and plugs won't send you broke and you'll find that the car tends to go through these as it works on a wasted spark system. If they don't fix the problem, you'll have a known good spare set.

I got back last night….bought New spark plugs and leads this morning and change them myself

all sorted!!!….….;)

At least I've found that it's a 4 pin coil pack….manufacture Feb '95
and I've now got a led light setup to test for engine faults!

Although….it may have been the plugs….I think they were originals!!!
