MAGICAL UPDATE,

Decided to strip the car :) touching up any areas that are exposed so there isn't any rust issues down the road :)

Yes I've decided to go through with it, I don't mind a bit of work here and there and I found out I was getting under paid buy 53c per hour but seeing as I have worked over 1000hrs at my job I will be receiving a pay check on Thursday next week :)

So rims will also be on the agenda but not just yet, first things first rims can wait until a later date.

Wow! Nice bonus!

Word of caution ... make a plan of attack before spending. You could finish with something respectable and usable, or you could blow it on "wish list" items that aren't yet necessary and then still need to find more funds to have something reliable.

Great that you have decided to take on the challenge.

Enjoy ... :)

Yeah my plan isnt to spend on cosmetic looks yet, its to get it back to its former glory and then i can worry about what it looks like :) ill probably just get a set of black steel rims new for 200$ :)

Don't. Steel rims on mx5s are bad. Way too heavy. Buy the ones linked above and wear the tires out.

I kept suggesting rims cause he mentioned he was worried the stock diff will break again due to weight

I meant steel rims as in stocks sunraysia type of things, and yeah I figured out that the rims on a barina that is lying around on my land not being used may be utilised, the pcd is the same and they are so much lighter so I'll see :) more updates soon

Update guys, got the new diff in (huge thanks to dancoco) but it got dark just as I bolted it up to the ppf so the car should be moving under it's own power by tomorrow night :)

Also needs a new rear lower control arm bolt as it is somewhat bent but my lovely brother has gone off to buy me one after work ,

Also all that is left to do is to clean it up one final time (for now) and wait for the timing belt and wanted pump to arrive in the mail :)

Hey guys I have a question, the brakes on my car have different numbering to the "stock na6" brakes that I have been seeing up for sale?

So my question is, are they nb or na8 brakes?

Here's a photo
