How to clean the inside of a transmission

The whole saga is just an embarrassment for him. I understand he's your friend, but that should never have been given back to you with damaged gears. Mechanic? Hmmm.

Last time he did mention the synchronise was wear and there are some metal chips, and I guess this might be the reason that sometimes my gear got stuck and not smooth. I was thinking about rebuild but then I just think may be I should try all the cheapest way to solve the problem before to go to expensive way.

I think we read about this before- the horse has probably bolted. If the box is no worse than before it was "serviced" and then repaired then you probably have no further comeback on the mechanic. Flushing the box may remove some swarf/ fragments - if there is any- but its not going to be rectify a worn gearbox. Others suggested a more frequent change of oil and that is a reasonable approach.

The only thing as others have suggested, is change the oil. There is really no point doing a 'flush' as it won't work its way into the gear set any more than oil does. Oil contains cleaning chemicals, amongst other chemicals, so just change it. If he has chipped teeth, that can't be rectified.

Buy a good used GB from a reputable source for @$1k, otherwise $2k or so for a decent rebuild by someone who knows what they're doing.

If I am gonna rebuild it I will find someone who is gearbox specialist. Gearbox specialist and mechanic is totally different role.

And see how, may be like you guys said, 2nd hand gearbox might be better.

I wouldn't stress too much until you start to have issues shifting or the box makes strange sounds.

My gear always get stuck in gear two, does that count as a issue of shifting?

Depends if the issue is really the gear box or clutch, clutch slave or clutch fluid.

If you pump the clutch pedal a few times does it feel easier to shift?

Not really sure about that as the problem only seems to happen on 2nd gear. For example this issue happen when I try to shift gear from 3 to 2, and the shifter doesn't get in, I need to press the clutch again to pull into 2nd gear, or from 1st gear to 2nd at traffic light.
