Help re BD Rollbar on NA MX5

Hi all

I'm installing a Brown Davis Rollbar on my '90 NA MX5 and need some help re mounting points.

Attached is a photo of the rear mount point behind the passenger seat - one of the mount points seems to requires either drilling through or modifying the cover plate to secure it?

Can someone please confirm with their installation? A photo would be best.
