NA6 Wheel Alignment

So, I got 195/50/R15 tyres put on 15x7 wheels. I'm currently still on stock suspension.

What sort of alignment figures would be best for spirited street driving? I've always worn the outside of my tyre, so negative camber is probably a must.

I was also thinking about some toe in on the rear to keep some higher speed stability.

Let me know if I'm on the right track?

Zero toe front & rear, max caster, about -1deg camber front and -2deg camber rear. Enjoy!

The lanny alignment (more rear camber then front) promotes understeer at the limit.

Fat cat say you should run more camber in the front then rear. Have a read here.

After using my alignment settings for the last five years of supersprints, I've never experienced issues with too much understeer at the limit. If you experience too much understeer with these settings on standard NA suspension, then you're just asking too much of entry speed and need to adjust your technique.

what tyres are you getting for it?

with stock suspension id suggest same camber front and back, maybe try -1.8degrees. max castor after camber is set. 0 toe front. 1.6mm total toe rear.

use that as a starting point and go from there :)

edit: you probably wont be able to hit that front camber on stock height so get as much as you can so that all 4 remain equal imho

Hankook Ventus S1 Evo in 195/50/R15 on a 15x7 Enkei 92 (6.21kg) +38 offset wheel.

The list looks abit old. The Bridgestone grid 3 was replaced by the re001 which has been replaced by the re002. I first bought grid III 9? Years ago

I think it just keeps results and ratings over time. Allows for comparisons between new and old tyres I suppose.

I just used it to give an indication of where the tyre sits in the "grip hierarchy" of street tyres.
