Well done John.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I'd like to congratulate all the organisers of this year's event too, it was run brilliantly which is no mean feat given the numbers involved.
From my participant-only perspective, everything went smoothly but I'm sure it was nothing like that behind the scenes so well done to everyone involved, please give yourself a pat on the back and take a well-deserved rest, you've earned it.
This event was a great chance to put some faces to interstate forum member names too - unfortunately I know most by their usernames only so when introduced to people by their real names I had no idea who they were so I apologise if I didn't recognise some of you.
I posted a picture earlier of the view from Mary Cairncross Reserve from Sunday when the Maleny run was practically rained-out. On the Tuesday Flaxton Gardens run, the weather was MUCH better and it was on the official run route so, for the benefit of those that have not seen it before, here's what the view is supposed to look like:

Nice pics Simon - and people ask why I live up that way? See for yourself!
I still try to visualise this area 120 million years ago with so many active volcanoes! I did read the highest concentration anywhere in the world
Well done JBT and the team
