few MX5 SE questions... (with pics)

Hi All,

I have a few MX5 SE questions!

firstly, can you confirm if the plastic guard/lip/mudflap in this pic is factory or after market install?
also are those wheels standard for some SEs? or they never came out with that design?

and... what do you guys think of the cloth SE seats? ive only see leather on cars for sale...

Seats, wheels, bumper, exhaust all suggest that isn;t an SE.

SE should have a lip on the bumper, a spoiler on the boot, leather seats, Mazdaspeed exhaust tip, and of course, a turbo under the bonnet.

Those wheels did come on the model that was available around the same time as the SE. I know a Vic Club member that has cloth seats in his SE.

Having said that, doesn't look like an SE to me at all.

.. that should be a NB8C with the different rims. Definitely not an SE, just look at the picture of the engine bay.

Probably not false, most likely just whoever made the advert has no idea.

Engine bay pic is 100% NOT an SE

Some people just think SE means "Special Edition" and label normal cars as such, without realising that mazda used SE for a specific model in Aust.

This is an SE vs SP comparison but the SP was really just a stock 2002 NB with a good turbo and "dodgy tune" so you can see the SE-specific features which "your car" appears to have none of.

Definitely false advertisng - they're going to get some very annoyed "tyre kickers".
