hi guys,
i am putting a bp from a NA8 into a '79 escort. In a week or two ill be lining up the engine in the bay for fitment.
Now, when it comes to weight distribution over the wheels or center of gravity etc. is there an ideal position (obviously dead center for left/right) or can i install for my own ease of use.
Also note, its getting a hilux rear axle/diff assembly so arse end will be a bit heavier than factory
cheers guys

My guess would be further back is better the forward, keeps the weight from hanging out in front of the wheels.
