Just curious as to whether anybody on here has (or knows of anyone who has) had experience buying/fitting/using a component like this?

Would there be any foreseeable downsides (apart from emissions) to fitting this to a stock system? My goal is simply to replace a 25 year old cat with something more free flowing than OEM (not after sik powr gainz). Was considering a high-flow cat... but then I saw this
Cheers

Power increase
2/3fuckall
That's a metric fuckall by the way.
It's just as easy to get a higher flowing cat, either a lower cell cat, or just a bigger one.

Will make the car slightly louder (slightly)
May get some black sh*t on the rear bar from unburned fuel.
Potentially increase afterfire (ie: unburned fuel igniting in the exhaust)
I've got an 80cel cat on my NB and it's great fun making it pop and crackle

just looks like a cat delete pipe. i'd expect lots more noise and exhasut flow. oh and noxious gases coming from your exhaust.

Just be aware that both running without a cat or over a cat is illegal on the road in all states

Re: Catalytic Convertor By-Pass Pipe
The fine for not having a cat is astronomical. A quick google shows numbers ranging from $1500 to $10,000 depending on state.
