Hello,
So I bought an aftermarket tie rod for my NA6 from Repco of the TRW brand. I have been assured that it is the right one by the sales rep. However, I went to install it today, and found two differences, first that the ball joint is of a different style (probably not a big issue), but mainly, the threaded section appears to be shorter. Is this going to be an issue? Have I got the right one? Has anyone had a similar issue?

For the record, it is in and aligned correctly. Has a different sized nut, which is annoying cause I only realised after putting it back together.
