I still have my factory BOV but I know of quite a few that have had to change to Turbosmart compact. I'm at 15psi with no issues but BOV has only done 30,000Km so relatively new and never seen a track seriously. I would replace with same Bosch unit if needed to. I don't need the pcheeeerchochochocho.

Turbo cars run 11.x parts air depending on setup.

Only when WOT, so the exhaust pipe would only look that way if the car is always tracked or dríven hard, otherwise the leaner burn at cruise should be a nicer lighter gray.

G

Not WOT, beg your pardon

The turbosmart valve is almost always (well over 90%) configured in recirculation just like stock on mx5's and as a result is a cheap very reliable unit that looks great is australian designed and made and flow far far greater than stock and the bosch and work at huge huge boost so you never have to worry about it leaking or failing ever. I recommend the bosch but its probably easier for most and nicer to have the turbosmart.

I remember when the SP was released there was some discussion about the BOV being the wrong way around.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I think I remember reading Garry turning his around and getting slightly less off throttle jerkiness or something but that was ages ago.
